A priority of the Public Protection Partnership is to protect communities and to deliver safe and healthy neighbourhoods. We do this a number of ways including:
• community engagement in public protection campaigns, events and activities,
• encouraging the community to report matters and to seek advice in key priority areas for self-service and
• funding for improving crime prevention in the community.
In December 2017 we launched the first round of the Public Protection Community Fund. The Public Protection Community Fund is funded from assets seized from criminals as a result of their criminal activity.
