The Public Protection Partnership (PPP) considers all tools available in resolving community matters. In many cases there are neighbourhood concerns that do not meet the threshold for being a Statutory Nuisance as prescribed under the Environmental Protection Act 1990-Section 79.
Mediation can be offered where it has not been possible to progress a case formally and take enforcement action under the relevant legislation enforced by the PPP.
Where all parties agree to try an informal approach to remedy a concern, the PPP may make a referral to our third party agents, Resolve Mediation Service. The mediation service will allocate key mediators to your case and work with all parties to find a mutually agreeable resolution.
