It’s never been easier to share your food hygiene rating online. This September the Public Protection Partnership is encouraging local businesses to display their FHRS scores online.
Displaying your food hygiene rating shows customers that you take food hygiene seriously. This is even more important, as increasingly customers come across your business online. Around 2 in 3 businesses report that though they display their rating in their store or premises, they don’t think to display it online too! This is despite 9 out of 10 businesses receiving a food hygiene rating of 4 or 5. If you are diligent in keeping your customers safe, why not let them know?
Give your customers confidence when ordering online by displaying your digital FHRS sticker prominently on your social media channels and business website.
When it comes to safety, selecting food online should be no different to selecting a restaurant or takeaway on your local high street. So, check out the latest online display guidance on the Food Standards Agency website, and maybe even share it in a food business Facebook group to pass on the message.
