- Try making non alcoholic cocktails (mocktails) instead of cocktails, mocktails can be a refreshing, healthy substitute for alcoholic cocktails. Good points, no hangover, cost less and no embarrassing social media photos and posts to face the next day. Google Mocktail recipes for lots of great ideas.
- There are some very good non alcoholic beers, ciders, wines and even spirits available on the market. These are produced by well known brands such as Budweiser, Kopperberg and Eisberg to name a few. Why not give them a try.
- Remember exceeding 14 units a week can be harmful to your health, both short term and long term. Binge drinking is also not advised, don’t save up these units for the weekend. Two units a day over seven days is better than drinking 14 units over a weekend.
