PPP Animal Warden Team Awarded RSPCA Golden Paw Print
The Public Protection Partnership is delighted to announce that our animal warden team has yet again been awarded a gold award for our stray dog provision from the RSPCA.
Services for Bracknell Forest and West Berkshire Council are provided by a dedicated in-house Animal Warden team, supported by our external out of hour’s partners.
Commenting on the award Cllr. Thomas Marino, portfolio holder responsible for Public Protection said, “Our animal warden team, and out of hours provision, work hard to provide compassionate and quality care when a stray dog is picked up. They are also key in promoting responsible pet ownership, reminding owners of their responsibilities regarding micro-chipping, tags and keeping that information up to date. We are delighted that their hard work has been recognised in receiving this award.”
The award recognises how the service delivered for residents in Bracknell Forest and West Berkshire is of a 'Gold Standard' delivered by our in-house team and out of hours provision. Their aim is to provide a service that meets the requirements of the local community and undertake regular proactive work to encourage responsible pet ownership.
