SCAM WARNING
We've heard reports of a current scam whereby you receive a text or email that looks to be from a friend or family member stating they've lost or broken their phone and are using someone else's phone to contact you. They need cash quick and can you give them your card details so they can order a phone.
Always check that the person is who they say they are ask them a question only the real person would know like a specific incident in their life, do not give hints just ask the question and say you're checking its them. If it’s the real person they will know the answer and not mind being asked. If its not genuine the details you provide could enable them to clear out your bank balance.
NEVER give your card or bank details to anyone in this way.
