Tax Changes from HMRC for Private Hire and Private Hire Operators
Please be advised of changes being made by HMRC for taxi, private hire and private hire operator licence applications from 4th April 2022.
From April 4th you will need to complete a tax check when you renew your licence as a:
- Driver of a taxi (hackney carriage)
- Driver of a private hire (and dual licences)
- Private hire vehicle operator
