Bumper Sticker Schools Competition
The Public Protection Partnership are running a competition which gives you the chance to design a sticker for a car bumper. The sticker will be placed on the back of a car, telling the car behind to turn their engine off when you come to a stop in traffic or at the roadside.
Leaving a car engine running when the car isn’t moving still releases harmful particles which pollute our air, which is bad for our health and the environment. By placing stickers in the back window of our cars we can encourage the driver behind us to turn off their engine when they aren’t moving, helping to clean up the air around us.
KS1, 2 & 3 children will all have the opportunity to enter the competition which will be open for entries from Friday 8th October – Monday 8th November. Entries will be narrowed down to a shortlist, before being sent back to schools to vote for a winning design which will be printed!
For details on how to enter please use the ‘Bumper Sticker Guidance pack’ document under the ‘Associated Documents’ heading below.
