Scam Warning - Downloadable 'Game'
We've seen a new email scam circulating regarding a downloadable 'game' to help raise funds for Ukraine citizens. Please do not click on the link - this is not a charity and is a scam. See below for copy of the email:
"Hello! I ask you to read this letter to the end. Maybe my English won't understandable to you completely, but we have to use a translator, because that I don't know your language. For this I apologize. We are a charity organization. We help Ukrainian children and their mothers to survive this horror, which takes place in Ukraine. Their husbands are now at war and it is not easy for them survive in such a difficult time. We have created an application in google play, so that people from all over the world can support people who are suffering from wars in this region. We do not ask you for a lot of money. In our application you can even donut 1$. Each of your contributions will help people survive this horror.
We are prohibited from collecting money from other countries. And we had to make an application so that the government of our country does not have any claims against us. We have to invent different ways to raise money to support people in Ukraine.
I really hope for your help. You can download the app on goole play to help people. The app is called "Pixel Knight". In the photo you can see screenshots of our applications and instructions on how you can donate money. Also I can post full link to the application to make it easier for you to find it. Our team thanks everyone in advance, who is willing to help. We do not want war and we really want this nightmare to end soon. We really hope for your support. I also wish you happiness, love and no war never..."
