Thatcham Community Larder – Nearly Three Months in

Thatcham Community Larder. 🍎🍐🥔

It’s nearly three months since Thatcham Community Larder launched and we are pleased to say that they are growing week by week.

They've now reached over 50 members, many of which return week after week.

Their members join for a variety of reasons, some to stretch their weekly shopping budget, others to help combat food waste and of course those who come along for the social side and a cup of tea.

Since their launch they've welcomed and supported TUXchange with the hugely successful school uniform exchange. They also have a child and adult book exchange and will soon be starting a clothing and toy/game exchange.

There are a fantastic group of volunteers who help with memberships, loading shopping bags, making drinks, slicing cake and of course making all members extremely welcome.

Why not go along and try it for yourself. It's not means tested and anyone local can join.
