When Visiting Hospitality Venues Be Patient and Follow Current Guidelines

With less than two weeks to go ahead of the planned lifting of further COVID restrictions on 17th May we’re urging those visiting hospitality venues to adhere to the current restrictions in place.

Please remember:

  • Be organised and preferably book your table in advance where possible
  • Adhere to the rule of 6 – do not move tables together or chat across tables to other groups
  • Download the NHS COVID-19 app in advance of your attendance
  • Check in with the app on arrival, or use the paper based system the venue has in place
  • Wear a face covering (unless exempt) whilst not seated
  • Follow the table service instructions from the venue, download service apps where available
  • Be polite and patient to the waiting staff
  • Be respectful of other guests
  • Maintain social distancing
  • Don’t adjust outdoor structures, since this may affect ventilation and the COVID secure systems the venue have put in place
  • Leave quietly when your booking has expired

Don't forget to wear extra layers or bring a blanket for your own comfort.
