Sainsbury’s Supermarkets Limited was fined £1,000,000 on 2nd March 2022 after a member of public collided with black and white baler twine whilst riding her mobility scooter at its Newbury store at Hectors Way in June 2020.

Be on your guard for Storm Damage Rogue Traders. The recent storms will inevitably have caused some damage to properties in the Public Protection Partnership (PPP) area. For this reason PPP would like to warn residents to be on their guard for rogue traders looking to make fast buck by offering to fix fencing, guttering and roofing at inflated prices following the recent storms.

Public Protection Partnership asks for public’s help in identifying deceased pony after disturbing discovery. The Public Protection Partnership is requesting the help of the public in identifying a dead pony dumped on the side of the road in Lovell Lane, Winkfield. The pony was discovered by a member of the public on 26th January, possibly disposed of overnight on the 25th. We’re urging any members of the public who may have been in the area and saw anything out of the ordinary that evening, possibly a horse box / large vehicle parked in the area on Tuesday 25th January. This is an extremely disturbing and upsetting incident and we need the public’s help in helping us identify who dumped this unfortunate pony.
