Big Help Out launch – Baroness Scott calls communities to get involved. The Big Help Out app was launched earlier this week (20 March). The Big Help Out, which will take place on the bank holiday of the Coronation (8 May), is a voluntary initiative which aims to raise awareness of volunteering and provide opportunities for people to offer support in their communities. The app seeks to provide a quick, clear and easy way for individuals to find and select suitable opportunities.

Alabama Rot. We have been made aware of two potential cases (we have been unable to confirm these cases) of Alabama Rot in the Lambourn area. The number of confirmed cases reported across the the UK in any one year is extremely low. Thousands of dogs are walked in the countryside every day, and it's important to remember that only a very small number of dogs are ever affected.
